Reservoir Run
Join Wally and Marylin Walker for their debut event, a two hour drive starting at Soquel High School, up to Summit Rd, down behind Lexington, through Los Gatos and onward past Guadalupe, Almaden, Calero and finally Uvas reservoirs. Five, count ‘em, five reservoirs! And only a few miles of freeway driving.
The drive will conclude at Hecker Pass Winery. It’s a brown bag affair, so pack up that picnic basket and we’ll enjoy lunch in the Winery’s private patio, looking over the Gilroy countryside and grape orchards.
A 9:30 departure. The drive should clock in at an hour and forty five to two hours, so arriving for lunch between 11:30 and noon. It will be led by the Walkers, with established grouping spots and restroom locations along the way.
We’ll also be offering a Los Gatos spot to meet for peninsula/South Bay members who might want to caravan to the Soquel meeting point.
