Monterey Abalone Farm, Wharf, and Lunch at Monterey Touring Vehicles

A tour led by Judy and Vern Burditt. The plan is to meet in Watsonville at the Riverside Drive Chevron station at 9:30am, drive back roads to get us to HWY 156/HWY 1, then on to Monterey. First stop will be on Monterey Wharf 1 (fishing wharf) for a tour of Monterey Abalone an operating abalone farm. We will have to pay for parking on the wharf – $3.00.

From there we will head down to Cannery Row and continue along the coast, up through PG (and possibly the 17 Mile Drive), then back to Del Monte, where we will stop for a bring your own sack lunch gathering at Monterey Touring Vehicles, where table will be set up for us to enjoy lunch and tour the business.
